Bob, I think a lot of guys could be moving around. There are a ton of possibilities. What was the limit of guys who could practice? Because come summer we will have 120 guys pretty easy with walkons. (If a big number don't fallout)

Sorry, but where does it ever say he's coming on a visit? I haven't been able to find it anywhere!

I'm not Bob, the early camp limit is 105, with no limit after school starts. I think we'll be a few scholarships below the 85 limit, so we could be looking at up to 25 prefered walkons, depending on injuries. My understanding is that there is a way to move injured scholarship players off the roster so they don't count.

David Cobb isn’t going to be pressured into making a wrong decision.
While four of his Ellison senior teammates signed letters of intent on National Signing Day, Cobb cheered in the audience with the rest of the students, teachers and other on-lookers.

“I really just want to make sure it’s right,” said the 5-foot-8, 210-pound tailback. “I really wasn’t ready and didn’t want to rush it for National Signing Day.
“I really just wanted to enjoy this for my friends and be happy for them, and wait and see what it comes down to.”

A consensus three-star recruit according Rivals.com and Scout.com, Cobb has been waffling over his decision for the last several weeks as he seeks to make an official visit before signing on the dotted line.
To date, Cobb has received six scholarship offers from Division I programs. Among his suitors are Stanford, Memphis, Texas State, North Texas, Army and most recently Navy, who offered Wednesday morning.

Cobb also has gained attention from coaches from Houston and Minnesota over the past week.

“Stuff is still coming in, so we just want work it out and not miss any opportunity,” Cobb said.

Sounds like he has his head on right. Great attitude.

Is he really 5'8"? He looks more like 6' in his video.

could be a great get. looks like a potential sleeper who will be hungry to prove that other bcs schools overlooked him.

He looks like a load, and brings it. We haven't had a big, physical back like that in a while.

Ahhh, that reminds me of Gary Russell's all too brief career as a Golden Gopher. Talk about a load, man. That guy had possibly the largest pair of thighs I have ever seen on a college player. I mean they were about Earl Campbell, Christian Okoye, Ickey Woods sized thighs. Really impressive, and man was he a punishing runner, about like a freight train out there.
