Darius Taylor is coming BACK!!!!

If he can stay healthy, keeping Taylor, Drake, and Anthony Smith and only losing Koi out of the top tier of names is about the best we could have reasonably expected.

Competition for Nelson would be nice.
I’m a Nelson guy and wouldn’t necessarily argue with you as long as we have enough bucks to get a really good player at tackle. Hell, I don’t know that Johnson has done enough to be untouchable, but I think he is.

I’d say swing big at OL. Make up for it elsewhere.

I don’t necessarily disagree with your opinion BUT given the funds available is this another situation where there are better use of these funds?

If this money can be thrown at the OL and help create a top quarter of the B1G unit, does that have a bigger impact on the offense than Darius alone?

It doesn’t do much good to have a sports car if you have to park it next to your mobile home.
DT does drive a Corvette!

David Cobb too was great and this is hyperbole but Mo might have won the Heisman the year he popped his Achilles had he stayed healthy.
And we might have beaten Ohio State if that had not happened.

i do think we lost significantly more legitimate depth pieces this year (bryan, fame, coleman) in addition to perich than last year when it seemed like retention was nearly 100% (save a coleman bryson here or there) outside of Daniels. i suppose they lose quite a bit less to graduation this year than last.

Hopefully he goes the AWJR route and finishes his career with good health. We are a much better team when he is on the field.

I must have been watching a different Bryan all season. I feel reasonably confident I could beat the kid on an out route, I'm out of shape and 30+ years removed from playing. He couldn't cover his cough.

Guarentee he has been presented options and has chosen to stay here and to that I respect him!

The 2020 B1G RB of the Year might want to have a word with you, along with Rodney Smith.
I’m not saying he performed better than the other backs.I just think he is the most talented one. But he gets hurt a lot.

Mo and Smith have had better production. I have never said DT is a better performer than any of them, just that he’s the most talented all around back we’ve had in a long time, in my opinion.

Ya, you gotta bite the bullet and sign Darius. He is a difference maker when healthy. We need all the play makers we can assemble.
