Daniel Jackson released by Texans
Jackson was unable to earn a spot on the Texans 53-man roster. He'll likely seek a spot on a practice squad.

Bummer but hopefully he can find a fit somewhere else. NFL is a tough business. Jackson is a really solid receiver but he lacks great size or gamebreaking speed so it is going to be a battle for him to stay in the league.![]()

I think you've hit on it. For a guy in Jackson's situation, you need one standout tool (usually size or speed) to make folks take full notice. Still and all, he'll likely be on a practice squad somewhere. He's a solid player who just needs to find a fit.Bummer but hopefully he can find a fit somewhere else. NFL is a tough business. I think the Vikings should have all ex-Gopher players. They would win the Super Bowl every year.Vikings should pick him up. It’ll be good for Brosmer to have a familiar receiver when he takes over the QB1 job next months.
I’m sure your sarcasm was lost on some.I think the Vikings should have all ex-Gopher players. They would win the Super Bowl every year.
Except Bucky Irving. **** him.I think the Vikings should have all ex-Gopher players. They would win the Super Bowl every year.
He made it!Tyler Cooper cut by the Packers. Nothing yet on Lindenberg. Fingers crossed he makes the Raiders' 53.
Yep, Bucky was disappointing however he was just the Gophers first taste of the new reality of NIL and the Portal, which in general has been more of a plus to this point than minus for Minnesota due to Coach Fleck's ability to navigate a changing landscape.Except Bucky Irving. **** him.
