Coyle told Ben that all the valuable players he built up will be entering the transfer portal. And that he needs to pick free players up off of the scrap heap. And that all the blame will be placed on him.

Ben said no, you're not going to smear me and ruin my career...I'm going to sound off about this...and tell everyone that YOU WANT to have a terrible program.

So, for the record, you're suggesting that Mark Coyle wants the Gophers to be bad at basketball, so he told Ben to be bad on purpose so Ben could take a pay cut and move to cushy $400k job?

At least in the old days, players who moved on were allowed to thank their former coach. A pittance...but at least something.
