The Band covering Springsteen.

Atlantic City

Any song Linda Ronstadt touches has the ability to make one forget the original, even for someone great like Warren Zevon.

Poor Poor Pitiful Me

To wit...

I could watch this vid over and over.

There are two kind of men in the world. Those who have a crush on Linda Ronstadt and those who don't know who she is.

- Willie Nelson

Insta pushed that quote to me earlier this week. I co-sign.

Steve Earle solo acoustic cover of Guy Clark's L.A. Freeway.

It's pretty much exactly 30 years from when these clips were taken on Pearl Jam's first trip to Australia. They look like kids playing at the High School Snow Daze Dance.

Pete Townsend / Let My Love Open the Door

Berry-Buck-Mills-Stipe join Michael Shannon, Jason Narducy & Friends at the famed 40 Watt Club in Athens for Pretty Persuasion.

I always get a kick when one of my favorite bands covers another also in my Top 10.

Wilco covering Buffalo Springfield/NY with Broken Arrow.

Bob Dylan sounding in good voice with a recent performance covering Rick Nelson.

Garden Party

Power to Sly Stone. Pearl Jam with Everyday People

What we need is Love & Mercy tonight.

Jeff Tweedy covering Brian Wilson.

Ryan Adams covering Soul Asylum from the heart.

Runaway Train

Here's a bunch of really well renowned musicians covering Big Star. I heard Mike Mills recently say that the this is best song ever written.

Noted.

September Gurls

In honor of Ozzy, I offer you "Brown Sabbath" Fairies Wear Boots.

Featured in a recent episode of The Bear is Eddie Vedder covering Pete Townsend covering The English Beat.

Save it for Later

Usually for a couple decades now, when Pearl Jam performs Better Man it gets tagged with Save it for Later by The English Beat. Sometimes it's just a few verses/chorus, others the whole thing.

Here's Eddie Vedder & The Earthlings going the other way, covering Save it for Later and tagging it with Better Man.

Also a heads up for Gopher football fans, look for the drummer in clip at The Bank during the Homecoming Game against Purdue.

Tedeschi Trucks Band joined on stage by Ed Vedder for a Who cover.

The Seeker

This gives you an idea of a Charley Crockett performance. If I had all kinds of time and opportunity, I'm not sure I wouldn't be traveling around the country attending multiple of his shows.
