after week 2,

Gopher offense 23, defense 83, special teams 12

Gophers preseason were top 25 in this metric, went to 31 after week 1, dropped hard after Miami win

Numbers moving a lot as new data entered...Purdue vs ND, NE vs OK, IN vs Cinci, MN vs CO, MD vs IL should give good reference points

Thank you for posting this!

This is why I'm frustrated with the focus on the OC right now. Sure, the play calling could be better, but our defense isn't in the same league as our offense. If our defense even just split the difference between where it is now and the offensive ranking, I bet OSU is a 7 point or less game and we wouldn't have had nearly as ugly of a win as we did.

It's quite bullish on Nebraska given that they lost to the #84 team and beat a team that's down in the 200s somewhere and the #85 team. And they lost last year to a bunch of the teams below them currently.

SP+ still puts a lot of weight on recruiting/returning production this early in the season.

Yeah. Looking at SP+ is pretty non useful until mid October

If Ohio state had beaten Oregon by 1 instead of losing by 7, Minnesota would probably be 10 spots higher.
