Connelly commits per Rivals

He looks like a beast on tape. Any ideas why is offer list is so weak? Wyoming (now coached by the bisons old coach, who already recruited this area heavily) isn't a powerhouse by any means & that's the next best offer he had after us.

Matt at TDG did a really nice write-up on Connelly. He compares his situation with Taylor Lewan, who was a lightly recruited D-Lineman and then received multiple D-1 offers after teams saw him camp as an OT. No one is predicting yet that Connelly will be an All-American and 1st round draft pick, but his theory is the reason the staff put a timetable on his offer is that his recruitment was going to explode when other teams saw him play O-line.

Connelly could be a much bigger commit for us than his offer list would indicate...

Kinda like how Eric Murray was a WR who we asked to camp at CB. If Connelly is as good an OT as Murray is a CB, I think most people would be pretty happy...
