Completely convinced that Brewster must go

What about the weird psuedo-run the clock out, then throw downfield (result: INT) that we did at the end of the 1st half?

I think it comes down to this: When playing a more talented team, you need to take risks and gamble a bit to create an upset. Maybe you fall flat or get embarrassed, but at least you are rolling the dice. A vanilla gameplan isn't going to done. I don't think Brew was coaching to win, but coaching not to get killed. So, mission accomplished?

Think of the beauty of Brew's strategy over 4 years. We've run every kind of offense but the option and he's proved without a doubt that none of his recruits can excel at any of them. 4 years in, he still can't find better than Weber, Collado or Theret. He's been so good at recruiting we have freshman corners that people like us that follow the team have never heard of starting against USC. BRILLIANT! And really, you can't walk away from this game saying Weber and our brutal offense lost, or our awful coverage defense lost it or our lost our lanes special teams either. It was one of those special games where we got beat at all 3 phases of the game. Nice...

We were better at extra points

There is no logic behind running the same play that was routinely stuffed for no gain.

Better than what Fisch did last year.

If we would have won because of that gameplan, you wouldn't be moaning now. You would be praising the gameplan that kept Barkley and the Trojan high powered offense off the field long enough to win. So instead of aiming your emo-cries at the gameplan (which has been stated numerous times ever since the hiring of Horton as OC and QB coach), maybe you should aim it at the poor clock management, or how we still don't have a WR that can step up (besides our 2nd string QB).
