If a College Gameday occurs, and there is nobody around to see it, then did it really happen?

How about peaceful protest of 50,000 people around the stadium with big screen TVs all around the stadium.

I guess I don’t understand why someone would watch a 4 hour show that isn’t broadcast from their team’s town and no crowd to try and hear a minute or two about their team. I guarantee that if they broadcast from Mpls that most viewers that are not Gopher fans might know who Fleck and Bateman are and that’s about it. And won’t care to know more. Most college fans are very provincial. The impact of Gameday without the goofy crowd shiite is highly highly overrated.

There are lots of fans who like to hear about other games and what's going on nationally and there's lots of fans who have Gameday on because their whole Saturday is all about college football. Not just their team's game, but watching games all day and Gameday is a great way to start.
