Nichols St is the class of the Southland conference. Hopefully T AM CC beats them this year.

The Kohl center refs are out in full force in the second half. 3 1/2 minutes left in the second half and they’ve called two, yes two fouls on the badgers while they’ve called over 13 fouls on Nicholls State. Absolutely disgusting

Pitt is hanging tough with St. Johns. Down 44-42 with about 12 minutes remaining. Don't really have any faith that they'll pull it out.....but you never know.

This would have been a disastrous loss.

Pitt wins at St. John's. I don't think they're as awful as everyone says. They had Uva beat on the road too and choked it.

WKU looking good against Louisville. Dayvion McKnight is something special

Good day for the Gophers RPI and NET ratings I'd think. And yeah....McKnight certainly had a big game (34 points) against us. I just looked at his stats....and he averages less than one three point attempt per game. That's despite averaging nearly 35 minutes per game as a 6'1" guard. Wow.

Ummm....Kentucky was ranked #21 after losing to a far below average Notre Dame team? Is it because they had zero road or power 5 wins?

Kerwin Walton gets like ZERO run at UNC.

And just as I type this, he checks in. 😂😂😂

I was just about to type this out. Team is losing by over 20 and he can't see the floor for more than enough time to get the starters some rest. Seems to have lost his role on this team.

Walton will be gone. Gophers will have interest as will UST. Hubert Davis obviously is not a fan

Really weird situation with Walton. Was playing roughly 20-30 mins a game and shooting 40% from 3 through the first 5 games and the suddenly can't get more than 10 minutes a game. Mustve been a falling out with the coach or something

Ben won't welcome Kerwin Walton back, unless there is evidence he can play much differently than he has last year or this year. Yes, he shot the ball well last year, but he does not play real good defense, does not handle the ball well, and has a lot of turnovers this year. That's why he's not playing - defense, and contributing anything other than shooting.

Ben Johnson has made very clear the type of players he wants, and he is unlikely to welcome any players, native Minnesotan's or others, who are one-dimensional. People get so hung up on positions, labeling players as a center, forward, guard, etc. If you listen to Ben, and watch how guys are playing this year, he does not care about positions. He wants players who can play off the ball, with the ball, and on the perimeter. And, he wants them to be able to guard multiple as well. He will likely play one big who can guard, but will want four players who are can play on the perimeter, not labeled as a 1, 2, 3, etc.

All that said, Kerwin Walton, unless he commits to being more than a shooter and playing differently on defense, does not fit that type of player. And, if he demonstrates a willingness to do that he'll likely get playing time at UNC again and won't be transferring.
