My point was that the Rams' QB, who also is a backup playing in place of the injured starter, didn't look terrible...

I don’t understand what the rams backup looking good has to do with the cardinals backup losing his job
 

If Streveler can quickly get up to NFL game speed, he can make a very good money being a backup QB/Swiss Knife.

There is no shame is staying healthy, swallow your ego, and collect a nice paycheck longer.
