Chris Monter: Wyatt Peiffer To Make Gopher Visit This Weekend

Wyatt Peiffer, a 6-foot-4, 240-pound senior defensive end from Chaska (MN) High, will make a visit to Minnesota this weekend and meet with new head coach Jerry Kill. Peiffer, who attended the Gophers’ Junior Day in February and the Minnesota-Northern Illinois game, comes from a big football family. Seems like a nice kid and I've never had the opportunity to see him play in person. With that said, his video was the least impressive of those making unofficials this weekend. Also, he was at Iowa States camp and has no interest from them and has no offers from the MAC. I hope this is not the caliber of player we end up offering, but rather offer a preferred walkon opportunity.
