Chris Monter Q&A: Blue Earth Junior Sam Lee Talks About Minnesota Visit

Sam Lee, a 6-foot-5, 300-pound lineman from Blue Earth (Minn,) High, visited Minnesota this weekend for the Gopher Junior Day. Lee was named South Central Conference All-Conference team this year and is a teammate of Jonah Pirsig, who has already received a Minnesota scholarship offer. GopherHole.com caught up with Lee Monday to learn the latest on his recruitment.

This would be a great duo to have opposite the Olsen (or McEvoy) bros. Clearly he can earn his own scholly and is not 'bait' for Persig. STAY AWAY FROM iowa.

It does make one wonder why with that combo on one side of the ball, why they are not advancing further in the state tourney? not a slam, just a head scratcher.

Nice article. Yes he would be a nice addition to the Gophers and if he doesn't make it to the pros, Minnesota is a great place to work and live after college for him.
