Carlos Emory?

Alright maybe they didn't suck as bad as I generalized, but busch may have worked his butt of, but he was an undersized 3 who wasn't built for big ten basketball for his skill set. Great for a mid major, though.

KP was the best towel waver we ever had. I remember my freshman year when he started just about every game. Ugh

tubby wants to stay away from any kid who is a potential problem or at least ones who have had issues in the past and they don't want to touch Juco kids unless its a last option. As frustrated as gopher fans are with the off court problems the past two years, magnify that by 100 and thats how fed up Tubby is with it. Now things don't alwasy work as planned and with Devoe gone and the possibility of Trevor leaving after this year, we may be in a crunch again come spring time so who knows at that time if we will look at Carlos but so far, as Ryan said, Minnesota has no interest. Carlos had his issues in high school but nothing serious. I also don't get the emmory/trevor comparisions, from the times i have seen him play he is much closer to Rodney and he isn't as bad a shooter as some are making him out to be, streaky yes, but I've seen him hit plenty of threes the past few summers. As an athlete he is just a small notch below Rodney but not by much.

That definitely makes a lot of sense. I can't imagine Tubby is even close to being happy with the off-court issues, and Emory is not a 5-Star you need to take a chance on.

I don't get the Trevor comparison either. Emmory's game isn't like Trevor's at all. He's a slashing wing player, not a PF in the a paint.

The only resemblance is they are both physical specimens.
