For some reason the sent folder shows 0 messages sent, and I want to make sure you know where to send the $$$.
 

Well, I should have predicted this.

Costa Rican Gopher is backing out on his wager because I accepted his bet in a reply to the thread instead of sending a PM as he requested. I accepted the bet in public on purpose, and with good reason as it turns out.

I knew that Wolverines are weasels, turns out some Gophers are too.

I think it really says something about a persons character when they don't pay their bets.
 

I gave you very clear instructions that you failed to follow and thus there was no bet. I asked you to PM me so I could tell you where to post up the money. No one in their right mind is giving credit to unknown Badger fans on the internet. Once your account is open and you've funded it you can bet as you like. You failed to contact me via PM, open your account or post up the funds.

LOL, I love that you think that you somehow should be revered for your great character. Character is precisely the thing everyone SHOULD be ripping you on. Who cares if you're a terrible writer, we could overlook grammatical errors. You are simply trying to advance your career by being a troll and getting "hits." I'm not claiming I'm a saint, although the only thing that I've written/said that I would take back is writing what I did about a certain DE, just wrote it too strong, but to suggest I'm a racist is asinine.

It's not just asinine, it's libelous. No point in getting too bent out of shape considering the piece of crap making the accusation.

Doesn't look like it was an agreed-upon bet when you're asking for confirmation (see the link you provide). Why would you ask "Deal?" if you thought you had an agreement?

No meeting of the minds = no agreement. It's pretty basic.
 


It's pretty standard for a third party to hold the funds in a bet such as this. It's too bad you're a stupid badger, you might have been able to make some money.

SF--You have to realize that the money has to be held by a 3rd party in a transaction of this sort. It isn't a legitimate bet until the money is actually put up (which in your case it never was).

He's a moron because he won the bet, and wants to get paid? Imagine if it was the flip-side, if CRG had won the bet, the outcry among the masses on here would be through the roof.

Doogie, are you really this dense? Would you honestly expect someone to post credit to an anonymous poster on a message board? The guy didn't follow directions to put up his collateral. No bet. Problem solved. Or are you just mad at CRG from another thread?

Can separate, even though CRG calling me a racist was, to say the least, over-the-top...I'd be lying if I said I went through and read the entire thread...I see where SF linked to the message where they agreed to the bet a few days prior...getting into semantics some, but I've always been one to honor a bet if I lose...have, and will continue to put minor details aside like where $$ needed to be put...bottom line: CRG made the bet, and now won't pay....maybe a compromise should be reached then...CRG pays him half.

My god man!! You even gave the link that proves you are nothing more than an idiot. If it wasn't for the link, some might feel for ya, but you just shot-down your own argument. You even ended your post with a question mark... What don't you understand with the whole thing? You had a sure thing (in your mind and in reality) and couldn't follow through with simple instructions. But to come back and cry about it while giving proof of your downfall at the same time = classic. Take a Betting 101 course next time.

NO HE DIDN'T MAKE THE BET. He wanted to, but the Badger guy never followed through. Read the thread. NO WAY is that a real bet. And, no way based on that posting would CRG come asking the guy for money had it been reversed. There was NO BET. Read it Doogs.

Its one thing to pay off a bet you make in person with someone you know, but NO WAY is anyone EVER going to pay off a bet made on line in a free message board without there is money put down with a third party on line in advance. That is what CRG wanted to do and the Badger guy either didn't really want to bet or was blowing a lot of hot air.

For SFBadger to come on here now and claim he is owed anything is a joke.

I'm trying to give you the benefit of the doubt in a lot of threads Doogie, but you're wrong here. CRG was clear that the money had to be put up with a 3rd party before he would make a bet. Because sfbadger didn't do that, CRG didn't agree to the bet. A guy can't renig on a bet that was never made. In this case, he didn't bet.

I also agree with many others. sfbadger you look like a moron when the proof you provide shows the bet wasn't fully consumated yet. You team won the game so congratulations. However, next year we have another shot. You, on the other hand, may remain a moron forever. Good luck with that.
