Tough for any safety to be matched up 1-1 against the best WR in the NFL. Great recognition and throw by Stafford.
 

He got torched but if you play that position in the NFL you will get burned, especially on that defensive call. It will make him a better player. He can handle it.

Basically that was a bonehead play call. But you are correct. AWjr CANNOT let him get behind him.....which really comes back to the playcall. Why were the safeties playing that far up? Buffalo had no timeouts. Keep the receivers in front of you....tackle them inbounds....and the clock more than likely runs out.

Horrible decision by the DC given the game situation. No way you should put a safety in position to have to cover one of the best receivers 1 on 1 in that situation.

And if you are going to bring that much pressure somebody better get home. Stanford had plenty of time to get the deep ball off and Kupp did what Kupp does to everyone. Dude is an amazing WR.
