I am thrilled Nebraska won at Indiana! The only team I dislike as much as Bucky is Crean-led Hoosiers. I am sick of this end of the season hoping this other team wins or loses. If the gophers are to get into the tourney they need to win a few games, NOW.
 

Ya, we definitely need 3 wins to get back on right side of the bubble.

I found myself pulling for Nebraska as the game went on. I just can't stand Crean and couldn't root for IU. Happy for the Huskers, even though it's a result that hurts the Gophers some. Gophs can get this done. They can start taking care of their end of the bargain on Sunday.
 

Every bubble team wins, but Syracuse loses to GT and Duke loses to WF. What a $%^ week.

The Nebraska/Indiana game to me was really a no lose situation. Either Indiana won and it hurt Nebraska or Nebraska won and we pretty much wrapped up the #7 seed. I'm not real upset with Nebraska winning and like others have said it is just hard to want Indiana to win. I think Nebraska needs one more win to find their way in the tournament and if they can't beat Wisconsin this weekend than I think it would actually help their chances if they have to play a Thursday game in the BTT.
 

It hurts us but we gotta admire the tenacity of Baylor, they're in.
 



Now A&M is choking the Mizzou game. Geeze.
 

No breaks for the Gophers tonight. The bubble has gotten more competitive. Gophers have some work to do now.

They pulled a Marquette.... Watching these games actually pisses me off more than watching the Gophers squander them away. I am done following up on the bubble. Everything that can go wrong will go wrong. Gophers need to do this on their own. If we can't distinguish ourselves from a team like Providence or Missouri we don't deserve to get in..
 

I fully expect Dayton to beat St. Louis tonight with the way things are going. They're only down 4 right now. Definitely thinking we need to win 3 more games.
 



I haven't analyzed this as much as usual, but with an RPI where the Gophers are, I don't see how all these other teams are in ahead of them. Either way, they need to beat Penn St which I won't be confident of until it is over.

It is aggravating. I expected Mizzou to win easily. But for A&M to be 3 with 20 seconds left and pee down their leg. Ugh.
 

How is Dayton in the same shape as us? Our résumé is way better.

Nailed it. Dayton up 6. Literally every game going against the Gophers, even the upsets. And St. Louis is going to go from Top 10 to an 8 seed.
 

Every bubble team is playing great when they need it. Hopefully we follow the trend.

Probably due to RPI. Dayton is 4-5 vs. the RPI Top 50 and 8-6 vs. the RPI Top 100. Gophers are 3-9 vs. the RPI Top 50 and 6-10 vs. the RPI Top 100. If Dayton beats SLU that will help their cause even more.
 

Stanford loses at home to Colorado. Finally one goes the Gophers way. Perhaps they miss the NCAA's, Dawkins gets fired and .....

I was thinking it would balance out with a few of their bad losses they have had.

big win. but the ripples from SLU losing will be interesting to watch. lost 3 straight. no "highlight" wins. could really hurt wichita state in rankings especially if they can't right the ship against Mass. on the road.

I agree. The way things are falling this week the Gophers will need to play their way in. I still believe that beating PSU and winning their first game in the B1G tourney won't be enough. They need to beat a team with a solid RPI to get back on the right side of the bubble. Winning against two B1G bottom dwellers won't move the needle enough. Its time for the Gophers to make a splash if they hope to Dance.
 

How does EVERY bubble team pull off wins in the final stretch against teams they should, in theory, lose to? Frusturating to say the least, and I really think now that we need to win three games to make the tournament. In other words, and outside chance now. We have work to do.

Standford lost to another bubble team, so yeah, basketball gods hate us

Me too. I'd hate myself for it, but it helps us, plus I wouldn't mind seeing Becky come into the B1G tourney on a 9-game win streak and have it snapped.
