Bennett....

"fantasy stuff" smacks, imho. And, I have seen what happens on these boards. Pretty soon, the "fantasy camp" starts getting really ticked off at the coach and anyone else who doesn't agree with their "fantasy take..." on players and coaching matters. Then, the mobbers and bashers start mobbing and bashing and before you know it, a full-scale civil war about a player or coach breaks out.

We do NOT live in a pretend world josh. The Coach and his staff will call the shots. The physical condition of the players will play a factor and younger players and players who may transfer in might possible play into the equation at a later point in time.

I was ONLY presenting my opinion and that is that the Coach and his staff will decide all these things. IF you want to argue about my right to present an opinion, that's just fine josh. Knock yourself out. I've said all I intend to say about this issue in this thread. But, I am forever going to come down on the side of keeping it real and in reminding people that the Coach and his staff will call the shots. I will say what I think. Have a problem with that?

Now, have a very nice day josh.

It's almost as if he has his own dialect of English. Linguists should spend a few months living in his habitat and study him.

dopodoll: Re: Prexy B and maturi...Prexy B is out of his position in June. maturi is 65 and can't hang on too much longer. Prexy K will undoubtedly want to put his own man/woman in as AD. Now, if Prexy B managed to extend maturi, maturi will get a "payoff" in the form of the buy out of the extension. (That is Prexy B's trademark...giving generous buy outs to people who never should have been extended...)

So, we have finally reached the end of the Prexy B era of football at the U of M. Yes, we have a new stadium...BUT...the new stadium's second season was a disaster in terms of actual attendance at the games (the season tickets sold were paid for...but...there were a LOT of empty seats. The student section smacked SO badly that we don't even need to discuss their pathetic condition at the end of the Prexy B era.

So, I really don't need to comment on Prexy B any longer. He did his best to make the football program deteriorate during the past four seasons. By not extending Mason for so long, and then rather than just letting Mason's contract expire, he EXTENDED Mason to help get the stadium, he wasted four or five million dollars...and helped trash the recruiting for the final few years of Mason's tenure. So, Prexy B spent the last 7 years running the football program down. And, make NO mistake about it: Prexy B called the shots with the football program and maturi was his lap-dog, yes man who provided cover for Prexy B. (YOu all agree that when a coach doesn't have 3 to 4 seasons remaining on his contract that recruiting IS trashed. That was the excuse used to "extend brewster last year, wasn't it????????)

Prexy B is as good as gone and that is a pretty darn good thing. maturiwill be history soon enough. There isn't much more he can do to screw up now, and not too much he can take the heat for. Prexy K will usher in a new era. We will see what we will see when he arrives.

Say, how is the Men's Hockey Program doing???????? Maybe maturi has one more hit to complete for Prexy B after all...

All this talk about "let Kill decide" is silly...

Do you really think that when I posted this thread that if they didn't move Bennett to WR that I was going to march down to Bierman with my move-Bennett-to-WR crowd and storm the complex?

It was merely talking during the offseason, and more of wondering what Kill will do rather than "Jerry Kill better do this...".

Crawford-Tufts?

I dont believe he will contribute next year. He doesnt run many different routes besides a straight line. Good speed not a great route runner, he could be useful on bubble screens because of his speed though.
