Wisconsin 7 for 30 from three today...You can't rely on 3 point shooting in the tourney. Difference in the game was Ole Miss hanging around in the first half while Henderson struggled. They hung around because of Holloway and Buckner dominating Berggren, Kaminsky, Evans and Brusier. Nice win for Ole Miss.
 

Ryan is a great big10 coach, but can't do it on the Ntl. Scene

this. bo and company struggle when they don't get the gift foul calls they often get from big ten officials.
 








It seems like me picking teams to win is often their death knell. I did not pick a single 5/12 upset this year. I thought they would all be close games, especially Oregon and Oklahoma State, but that in the end the 5 seed would win. I went back and forth on this one, as much as I wanted Becky to lose in the first round, I didn't think they would, happy to be wrong. Unfortunately I also picked the Gophers to win tonight, so hopefully they can overcome that!
 


So will the obnoxious GVBadger show up? Probably not.

Where are those Badger guys? I thought they always came out when we talk about Wisconsin. Maybe they all got banned. Book your tee times Sconnie, see you next year!
 

I just want to say...the Badgers are the 64th place team in the country and if we win tonight we will be at worst in 17th place...LOL

Watched the game at a bar/restaurant at my lunch break. Packed with UW fans. You'd be surprised (or maybe not) at how many of my friends had them in the final four, or further. LOL
 

Always glorious when the Badgers go down in a flaming wreck.

I can check off yet another year for my $100 bet with a friend who is a Badger fan. The bet is that Bo Ryan will never win a National Title title with UW. E-Z money.

Funny you mention that, as I made the bet, another friend (who was also a Badger fan) got in on the action as well. On my side of the bet. But sorry, betting on that was closed years ago.

Would anyone be surprised that this bet was made by a Badger fan under the influence of alcohol?

The Final 4 is a bit of a stretch, but that's kind of a tricky little portion of the bracket.

I wouldn't have been surprised to see WI lose in the first round or have gone to the Elite 8.

That is precisely why they should be banned from the tournament. They are the ultimate bracket busters in either direction. Keep them away!

They alway get upset. Always.

I am still shocked people pick them to go far.
 

This is no surprise. You can set your clock by it. Wisconsin will finish at worst tied for 4th in the Big Ten, win the league only if there aren't any other good teams, and then they won't go past the S16. Most predictable team in the country. No B1G basketball titles of any kind over the past 5 years and counting, and no E8 appearances over the past 8 years and counting, no F4 appearances over the past 13 years and counting (which includes all of Bo's seasons). But they get to hang another "Top 4" banner this year!

To me Bo Ryan is the most polarizing coach in the Big Ten. He does a good job, but he doesn't truly take Wisconsin to the highest level of college basketball. I think they can actually do better than Ryan in some regards. Get a coach who has an attractive style of play that can recruit, maybe you will actually get past the S16 once in a while.
 


The Grinch and Bucky are dead. They layed an egg. If you can't score you can't win in the NCCA. Maybe a twenty-five second shot clock would force the grinch to play actual modern day,entertaining basketball. BETTER DEAD THAN RED!
 

You all realize those ultra-lucky idiots would have YET AGAIN faced a very low seed had they simply taken care of business? LaSalle pulled off the upset, and the Badgers had another free ride to the Sweet 16 without another major Badger NCAA choke job. Being a Minnesota fan is very tough, but it's days like these that keep me interested lol.

Don't be surprised if Wichita St. knocks off Gonzaga. The Badgers' bracket is chock full of bracket busters almost every year.
