B1G Tournament, Game #1: #7 Gophers v. #10 Penn State [ESPN2, 5:30PM]

Way too many missed opportunities left out on the court by the Gophers. Compound that with the second chance points for Penn State and the Gophers are up 5 instead of 15 at halftime. I don't like where this game is headed at all. Team played some very good first shot defense, but screwed up transition opportunities when they got turnovers, and gave up too many easy looks on second chance opportunities.

Mo Walker had some nice flashes in the first half and should be a focal point for the Gophers in the second half, but he's got to finish strong...left some points out there because he went up soft and didn't finish.
 

If I was not watching the game, and only followed you guys and your comments, I would have believed we are behind. Sheesh!!!

Man, I feel like we are going to get screwed and lose this game. Hopefully it doesn't come down to a 1 or 2 point game with that Mav basket not counting.

And as I write this Dre gets his 3rd. ****!
 

Mathieu needs to know when to force it on the break and when to pull it out. Hopefully he works on that in the offseason.

Pretty sure they counted the Mav basket
 




Andre is struggling right now. He hasn't really been a leader for us since before his injury. There is extra pressure by Mathieu and Austin to be our leaders this late in the season.
 

Dre Hollins is usually automatic from the corner when he's wide open. Then he bricks an open shot from the elbow....yikes.

I've only been able to watch since 17-7 (I realize that was the pinnacle, sorry I turned the game on) and PSU has gotten every close call except for the Mav bucket at half, which was the correct call anyway. EE getting strangled by the refs like usual.

Great job of passing it by Mathieu, that's the sorta stuff he needs to recognize when pushing it.
 





The worst thing about Dre going out with 4 is that Mav is probably going to play some PG this half.
