So, here is how I look at this."Sources expect former DeLaSalle coach Dave Thorson, now an assistant at Colorado State, to be named one of Johnson’s assistant coaches." Dave Shama
Ha Ha Ha..... Yes and I once worked with a couple of guys that played D3 college basketball...feel confident in the fact that i have a few years coaching travel team basketball and a few more years coaching Junior High Basketball.....
and to some on here it matters.....but i also started 3 years of varsity basketball so i check the box of "playing the game at a high level".....

No wonder compliance has issues since coach wants to hire some assault coaches
I agree. I wanted to for keeping Liam, good thing I'm not in chargeGlad we're not keeping Conroy just to keep Robbins. Not supportive of that culture.
Which one of you putzes is Jerry?
I bet that caused some amazingly qualified candidates to look elsewhereSaw the job posting today on Indeed.com. It is listed as being there for 12 days. Purdue and Marquette also had assistant jobs listed. What distinguishes the Gophers' add from the other two is that the other two have far more detailed (especially Purdue's) job descriptions and skill/experience requirements. Our ad gives a very brief and general description of job duties. The listed requirements are a bachelor's degree (masters preferred) and one year of coaching experience at the collegiate or pro level.
im pretty sure any qualified candidate that BJ is/was looking at was not looking up the job description on indeed........I bet that caused some amazingly qualified candidates to look elsewhere
It's actually embarrassing.I bet that caused some amazingly qualified candidates to look elsewhere
Yep. My response was sarcasmim pretty sure any qualified candidate that BJ is/was looking at was not looking up the job description on indeed........
No, it’s really not. Funny that you think it actually matters to any viable candidate, or that they are waiting to see who applies. It's actually embarrassing.
I found it bizarre for sure, but I'm guessing any job opening at the U is required to be posted somewhere for x amount of time. No, it’s really not. Funny that you think it actually matters to any viable candidate, or that they are waiting to see who applies.
i figured as much....Yep. My response was sarcasm
The new name, McNeilly, has coached at Marquette, Virginia Tech and Texas A&M. And has experience coaching in Canada and Europe.
A cheesehead...oh well now he's a Gopher.
Any time you put something in the public forum and it has the UofM or your program's name on it, it should be quality. That is the way I have always operated for organizations I have run or worked for. I don't care if it's inconsequential to what your plans are, if you put it out to the public it should make a good representation. That did not.No, it’s really not. Funny that you think it actually matters to any viable candidate, or that they are waiting to see who applies.
