It isn't pretty, it isn't easy......but the team is battling and finding a way to come out on top even when things are going wrong. It wasn't all that long ago that as Gopher fans the assumption would have been that a game going the way this one was, was 100% going to end up in the loss column.

A few weeks ago we looked at the 4 game stretch of Purdue, Nebraska, Iowa and Michigan State and most agreed for this to end up being a decent season we needed to go 3-1 over that stretch. Mission accomplished.....might be lacking in style points but sitting at 6-3, 4-2 with 3 games to go is a pretty solid place to be and one a lot of teams in the conference would gladly trade us for.

I can see a playoff berth in the future, if Drake continues to develop and there' significant overall improvement in his junior/senior season.

Obviously, lots of things have to break right, but if you don't have the right QB, you got no chance. I think for the first time in the recent past, we have the right QB.

PJ’s 2019 team was more than capable of getting into the CFP. We’ve seen him put together a team that’s capable of it before. Need to make sure he has the resources he needs to compete here.

5 sacks ... was looking like the "ninnnneeeee timmmmmeeeess" might even be in jeopardy.

Simply enjoy it. Enjoy the fact we got all the penalty calls. Enjoy the fact we made plays that were so lucky. Enjoy the fact that we made plays that we don't normally make. Enjoy the fact they dropped passes.

After decades of sucking from age 7 to 27, I am simply going to sit back and love every aspect of that game. For all you youngsters that were not fans of us in the late 70's 80's and early 90"s, we sucked. We lost games in the worst ways possible. So, when we win a game like this, we f'ing enjoy the hell out of it.

Maybe the Gophers can figure out a way to get Tim O'Dey to ref all their games? He's been good to them.
