Curious why Wisconsin got #12 when they came within an overtime of finishing last in the West? Wisconsin and LSU are by far the biggest jumpers from last season's finish.

These are always a weird mix of some of last year and predictions for the future this year.

I'm not sure anyone even votes for the same reasons.

It's because Graham Mertz has a logo now, so he must be the best QB in the world. /s
 

Teams get ranked on history and tradition all the time.

I hope the day arrives when Minnesota gets some respect.
 









All my own opinion, but preseason rankings do nothing good for college athletics. 1st ranking should be week 3 or 4. It'll never happen, but I wish it would.
