Welcome aboard Logan! Best wishes for success on and off the field.

Sorry guys - didn't see this before I posted a separate thread...too many posts, too little time to catch up!

Cameron Botticelli is a really good walk on. (I don't know anything about the other two guys)

He has really good size (6'5" 240ish), he has a ton of Division 1aa (Whatever it's called now) offers, and he is the typical guy that walks on at Sconny and kills us.

From his clips he looks strong and plays with a mean streak. I think this kid will be on scholorship sooner rather than later.

Looks like Botticelli had high interest in bucky and they did not in return...hopefuly he takes that into the game every time we play then for the next 4 years..these are the kids that make big plays in those type of games....

That's what i like to hear!!

Now if only the hockey team could recruit players with a chip on their shoulder........

I clicked on the second video and watched about half of it. That is all I needed to see. Great pick up. Love how aggresive he tries to hit people. We need more of that on our team.

The offers from UNI and SIU mean something because they are at or near the top of FCS every year.

The UNI defensive line this past year, and last year, was dominant and sent two guys to the NFL. Their DL coach is known for recognizing talent. The Weigian OL last year looked sick against his DL.

My guess is that Botticelli will earn a scholie.

They had a lot of interest in him. The Badgers did not have a scholarship for him. He had committed to walk on the Badgers. There was a rumor yesterday that he was going to get a CSU offer, but he must not have.

Most people who have seen him play were very excited he was going to walk on at UW. It is too bad he changed his mind. Good luck to him at Minnesota.

Just for the record, Logan Lafferty is 6'2" and 215 lbs. Our head coach likes to under rate his players on our roster so teams will under estimate us. Just an FYI.

Cool Beans! I go to Rochester Century and i can say first hand Logan is a MONSTER! He literally scares the *&^!#*&^!#*&^!#*&^!# out of me. I don't know him personally, but I played him in intramural basketball (almost no rules in that game)....I had a chance to hack/block him for a layup (something I love to do)...I didn't even try. FYI, he was a post player :D

Herb Brooks said it best, "all star teams fail because they rely solely on the individual's talent." until we get the right mix of players (too many stars, 21 gophers are drafted, next in the WCHA is the Fighting Sux with 12, and they're having a below par year as well) i will feel much better about football and basketball than I do about hockey. We're basically a minor league team right now playing with no passion or sense of urgency. Had to put my two cents in on the hockey comment. Glad someone feels the same way I do. Now back to football i suppose.

As An Art Major, No Doubt ;-)
