I know Mr. Hawes as well!! He is a very soft spoken well educated gentleman!! We work in the same school district and have worked together on some committees. Great guy!! I met him one day and noticed his ring on his hand, made a comment regarding it and he let my wear it!! WOW!! That was the last Big 10 championship for the football team!! The same year I was born!!!!!! I kinda made him feel old!! OOOPS!! He was gracious and teased me a bit!!

I would love to see a big 10 Championship and a Rose Bowl birth!! I promise to go and I'll take my Dad!!!!!
