She was responding to someone who was saying it was Buzz and she says no to it. The part after RT is the question, prior to RT is her response.

"Process happening now" and others talking about something being imminent. Would seem to be associated with the interview they did yesterday rather than this morning's presumed meeting with Grant. I wonder if this is close.

Did Amelia give us any great inside info on the Shaka situation ? I don't think so,so what reason is there to believe that she knows whats going on now ?

Some told Amelia Rayno via twitter that they heard it was Buzz Williams.

Amelia responded to that person saying the process is happening right now and that means it is NOT Buzz Williams.

This is what she said in this morning's Strib article:

"Smart was also the subject of various rumors Wednesday, including whispers of work on a deal involving the Gophers. Other reports indicated UCLA was highly interested as well, but ultimately Smart resisted the overtures of both schools, just as he did last year when he remained at VCU rather than pursue the Illinois vacancy."

Why are people actually believing anything RichmondInsider is saying? Why would someone from Richmond have any sources on Minnesota's coaching search now that Shaka is out? Grant hasn't coached VCU in years. I think we should be getting our leads from other areas than an anonymous Richmond poster who talks about getting in bar fights between "updates." My god some of you are gullible.

That being said, we have not had ANY substantial reports stating that Grant is here interviewing. That's probably an assumption that is not safe to make

OK, ya, easy to get carried away, but I think the scenario we got from richmondinsider as it was happening, in retrospect, makes sense and could have been true. And it does make sense if Grant was in for an interview. Merely worth paying attention to.
 








Amelia needs so stick to searching for Big Foot.

A scam has to be believable to be effective.
 

Rumor has it that Minnesota reached out to Buzz on Monday, and he told them no thank you on Tuesday.
 





Buzz will probably be run out of town after that despicable performance against Syracuse. They looked even worse than Indiana.
 

I think Amelia has no clue what is going on. She didn't think Teague wanted Flip and it turns out he was offered the job. And saying buzz might be get-able is pretty comical.
 

Buzz will not be run out of town. My parents are Marquette alum and huge basketball fans. Listening to them you would think Buzz was the second coming. He can do no wrong. Seriously. I am tired of hearing it, lol.

Yep. I'm a Marquette Alum and he is going to be there a while. Just can't see him leaving for a program like Minnesota. I'll be utterly shocked if he leaves this offseason (for us or anyone else).
 

I'm pretty sure notriousgod71 had his tongue planted in cheek when he said Buzz was going to be run out of town.

Teams have tried to solve that 2-3 zone for years. Its incredibly effective. No shame in losing, they held Cuse to 55.
