In a total non-sequitur to the post, I keep looking for SMU in the Big 12 standings and never equate them with the ACC.

By percentage of net worth I give more to the university of Minnesota annually (who didn’t let attend their esteemed university) than he did to his Alma mater. But sure 👍

To put it in perspective, and if you can believe reported net worth via the internet, Jerry Jones is worth $19.9BB and if he donated $10MM, that is .0005% of his net worth.

So, if you were worth $1,000,000, it would be equivalent to donating $502.

Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin is a Millionaire, a U of MN graduate and he has never given two pennies to the University of MN. That putz even wears Badger gear all the time. He is no Gopher

The reason would consider that job that is lateral and not a significant upgrade is if he thinks he’s peaked here and that’s a good exit ramp to an above average job.

If he leaves we should be happy for him and also happy for us.
