Not my favorite combo. But they certainly did not look bad in any way.

Next week @Iowa. My prediction: White tops, Maroon Pants.
 

Time for wild, weird and wacky.

School colors-Maroon and Gold...check

White jerseys and pants(need jersey for away and many teams have white pants-a neutral color)....check.

How about kahki pants? Our uniforms are somewhat 'throwback' and we all have a pair of kahki pants, right?....we can skip the penny loafers. Maroon/Kahki.....White/Kahki.

With all the advances in design technology and attempts at 'throwbacks', why can't we come up with a 'leather looking' helmet?

Leather looking helmet with maroon/kahki or white/kahki.....I warned you-wild, weird and wacky.:cool02:
 


All Maroon sure looked great under the lights - gold numbers and helmet logo popped. Like it!

I have called every location of Goldy's Lockerroom and they not only carry only the #5 jersey, but they are nearly sold out and I was told from the Stadium location that they are not likely to reorder more. WTF?

Nope, they are too damn cheap. A buddy of mine dealt with them while trying to get a decent hockey jersey. They basically said they won't invest the money on jerseys because they have a shelf-life. Their argument for not ordering more FB jerseys I'm sure is that Gray is a Senior, and noone will want a # 5 Jersey after November, maybe even sooner depending how Shortell plays. They don't want to order a ton because they won't sell, they will have to put them on clearance and they will lose money.

Gold Country sucks as a retailer. You will me much better off trying to deal with the bookstore, who might be willing to help you while Goldy's could not give less of a crap.

Gold Country isn't even a Minnesota store. They are owned by Bucky's Locker Room out of Madison. Think they care about providing a good product to MN fans....nope they only care about their bottom line.

White/white needs to go away yesterday. Brew started it and it is not our correct look imo. I would love to see the white/gold combo

actually maroon jerseys with white pants, and a white helmet would be a traditional look for the U of M. let's at least be accurate @gopherFBequip

Pretty sure they wore something else looooong before they wore the 1960s uniforms.

+1. Respect his opinion but he really needs to stop thinking that his favorite old school uniforms are the only ones that can be thought of as traditional.
 

So...not much owing on right now, what do we think, gold pants tomorrow? When is the last time we wore those on the road?
