The Smashing Machine looks like it could be good. I watched the one from 2002. They have the Rock even looking like Kerr in the previews for the recent one.

Finally watched the short series on Netflix called Hitler and Nazis: Evil on Trial. Was well done. It still blows my mind how all those people just went along with what he was doing.

I might have to check this out the next time I'm on a longer flight, kill some time.

** Funny, trivial fact; when I was like 10-12 years old, one of my tasks each winter in the hinterland of the central/northern Minnesota woods, as directed by the old man, was to haul wood for an old woman who lived on the other side of the lake from us, dodging her damn dog named Monsignor while I hauled wood from the shed into her house in the middle of the winter.

As it turns out, she was an old French woman who was a court reporter at the Nuremberg trials. Obviously at that age I had no clue but I do recall once or twice, someone making the ridiculous trek out to her house in the sticks to interview her for some reason.

If I was 10 years older, it damn sure would have been fun to sit down and have a conversation with her, many conversations; that would have been an incredible experience. Unfortunately for me at that age, it was just another strong back, weak mind hard labor assignment from my Dad.

We watched Wicked Little Letters tonight and I haven’t enjoyed a movie as much in some time. Funny, bawdy, thoughtful and with a dash of intrigue. Olivia Colman and Jessie Buckley were both wonderful in sparring roles.

Has anyone watched "Listers: A Glimpse Into Extreme Birdwatching" found in YouTube? It's about these two, complete novices, who decide to take one year to try identify as many birds as possible. It is absolutely hilarious because they are so far out of their element. It's fun and enjoyable. A great watch. Here's the link.

Has anyone seen Unknown Number, the documentary on Netflix? I won't spoil it, but if you haven't watched it, I recommend not googling it and not finding out the story before watching. It's f'd up, but worth the watch.

Michel Keaton directed and starred in Knox Goes Away

To do this, he must race against the police closing in on him, as well as the ticking clock of his own rapidly-deteriorating mind.

It was really good. Al Pacino has a role in it also.

I just watched Knox Goes Away, I liked it. It kept me engaged throughout, trying figure out the ploy. Keaton solid as always

I'm interested to see if he takes on any additional Directing projects.

Seen it bouncing around the streaming services here, I will make sure to watch when it’s available again. As you said, I can’t ever recall going wrong with a Michael Keaton movie.
