The Joker or a drunken clown?

BREAKING BAD SPOILERS!!!!
Seems odd to me that they would make a Breaking Bad movie. I thought they tied everything up fairly well and gave closure to everything that I cared to know about. And how is Cranston's character even going to be incorporated into the film after the final episode?
Plus.....as good as Breaking Bad was.....I have to say that I've kind of been more a fan of Better Call Saul.
Went to “Bohemian Rhapsody” tonight. Just flat out fantastic. Me and the Mrs. loved it.
Every now and then someone comes along that is just so immensely talented and truly bigger than life. Wow. Freddie Mercury is one of those people. I was never a Queen fan in my earlier days but there are a lot of songs they have that I like. Actually had goose bumps once or twice towards the end of the movie that showed the Live Aid performance.
Great movie, I’d highly recommend it!
I guess I have a different take on this. If I want to listen to Queen, or watch a Queen performance, I'll watch a concert DVD of the actual group - not actors pretending to be the band members and lip-syncing to their greatest hits. it's that suspension of disbelief thing. I can watch a Marvel movie and enjoy it - even though I know Chris Evans is not really Captain America. But, when I watch one of the musical bio-pics, I'm always aware that I'm watching an actor pretending to be a musician. it just doesn't work for me.
Also, I just find a lot of musical biopics lacking, because they change facts, incidents and characters for "dramatic" purposes. One of the worst was the Buddy Holly Story with Gary Busey. over half of the stuff in that movie was completely made up. Again, I'd rather watch a documentary about the group.
to each his own.

The latest liberal, hate-fest movie from Hollywood, "Vice", appears to be opening to some less-than-stellar reviews. Another one to put on the list of movies to not go to this holiday season.
Clint Eastwood's "The Mule" looks pretty good, and maybe Aquaman is worth checking out anyway.

I saw it opening night. I didn't love it as much as you, but thought it was very good. It was exactly what I thought it would be, like any other rock biography. No surprises. Still it was fun to watch, the actor who played Freddy did an amazing job & the music was great.

You can't make an accurate/good movie when you hate your subjects.
So the makers of Downfall must've loved them some Hitler, eh?
