I was scratching my head until I saw that they are #20 and hired the HC from Virginia Tech. Always interested in the different dynamics. She chose a male HC'd program.
 

Ken Brooks had built a relationship with her when he coached Virginia Tech and he has Kentucky doing well this year. He had a great point guard at Tech and Maddyn wants to be the next one. My thoughts are that she will have a great career.

Ken Brooks is a quality basketball, excellent ball coach. I thought Greenway would pick a private school like Duke because of academics.

Duke might have been the leader until Emilee Skinner committed there. Skinner is a ball dominant PG in the ‘25 class ranked higher than Greenway.
 

Kenny Brooks coached Georgia Amore who is about the same height as Greenway . So glad she didn’t go to a team in the Big.
 



Brooks seems like a players coach. Considering Amore went with him to Kentucky. I think he will build something good there. I also am glad she will not be in the big ten.
 

Kentucky is off to a 4 and 0 start this year. They just beat Louisville 71-61 at home with 6,111 fans in attendance. Nearly double their average crowd but it was Louisville. But, they gave them a reason to return with the win over the rival.
 




Great fit for Greenway. Brooks is an amazing coach, and she gets to play in the best conference in the country - SEC. SEC continues to get the best.
