All things biking.

I went up to Lino Lakes and hit the paths there. If you're up for just meandering through the woods and around the lakes it's a fine spot. A lot of it is nature reserve so it really feels like you're getting away even though it's borderline metro area. Nice to be able to jump in a lake afterwards as well.
On Thursday, before the holiday, I did a 30 mile ride in and around St Paul. I had 2000 feet of elevation riding my old bike. The last quarter mile was a 7% incline climb up out of the River valley. I never get tired of riding along the Mississippi and climbing up the bluffs. It's a great workout and the views are wonderful. This southeast corner is becoming a gem for riding. On my trek I met a 70+ year old couple that rode their ebikes in from Inver Grove Heights to Harriet Island. I hope to keep peddling as long as I can. I am not all that far away from that couple. To everyone who is biking, keep going. It's a fantastic way to enjoy this great state.
