The comps Lewis mentions in the article, seem appropriate to me -
Last fall, the Carolina Panthers signed right tackle Taylor Moton to a two-year extension, paying him $22 million in average annual value through 2027. The Cleveland Browns recently extended right tackle Tytus Howard for $22.5 million in average annual value. O’Neill could understandably view himself as deserving of a smidge more, especially considering the year-over-year salary-cap increase.
Be great for the rookie to learn from him for a couple of seasons and the. Hopefully be able to replace him; he’s had a really good career and was an excellent pick.
