All Things 2025 Playoffs and Bowl Thread

I guess, since the opponents the ball at the 25 regardless. Probably all but targeting would be overlooked
I would have assumed that the penalty would be enforced on MSU's possession. Very strange.

A great game though. I was going to feel bad for whichever team lost. Great seasons for both schools.

But, you know, FBS shouldn't have a tournament...because...reasons.

Rule 3.3.g - Fouls after a change of team possession
1. Penalties against either team are declined by rule in extra periods. (Exceptions: Penalties for flagrant personal fouls, unsportsmanlike conduct fouls, dead-ball personal fouls and live-ball fouls treated as dead-ball fouls are enforced on the succeeding play.)

Ratings up. However, I'm starting to be skeptical of TV ratings and if they are baked and really able to track things.

Hope Coyle files this away next time they want to put Nebraska in a better bowl spot. I guess maybe they go to the game rather than watch it. :ROFLMAO:

This is funny and shows the skew at the beginning of the season.

Honestly the only really awful predictions are LSU and Clemson.

Penn state had an awful year but things went haywire after they almost beat Oregon. Hangover loss, then a torn ACL by QB and fired coach. They were a good team at one point who fell apart.

Texas, in my opinion, was the third best SEC team behind Georgia and ole miss. They just laid an egg against Florida.

Everyone else is in the playoff

Only Taylor Lewan has a team that made the CFP Semifinals. And those Clemson picks? Oh boy.

Exhibit #5,375 as to why ESPN and "expert" should never be used in the same sentence.

After Indiana bought the best roster in the country, shouldn't they have been all over this? Or is it possible that that narrative only developed after too many wins against good teams forced skeptics to abandon the "they havent actually beaten anyone so they aren't that good" narrative?

Wow. The Ole Miss RB has some hops. I'm not used to seeing a college RB outrun the DBs.

They didn’t buy the best roster by buying the highest rated

They bought the best roster by having the best scouting. Better than the networks scouting
