Hell yes. Picking up Okudah off the scrap heap and turning the former #3 overall pick into a viable starting CB would be just flat out awesome
KaBoom! Knew it was coming. Need JJ to be healthy by then
Somebody get Keenan Allen on the phone.
If somehow JJ isn't ready to go, the rest of our WR roster looks pretty grim especially with having a young QB.KaBoom! Knew it was coming. Need JJ to be healthy by then
Agreed. Think we can get by ok with JJ, Hock and Nailor, providing JJ is a go.If somehow JJ isn't ready to go, the rest of our WR roster looks pretty grim especially with having a young QB.
JJ will be good to go. He was coached by Harbaugh and he has great pieces around him. He is, arguably, practicing against a top 5 defense which is challenging in practice, but will be an advantage in games. The real question is what kind of an offensive line will he have to give him time to complete passes. An offense is only as good as the offensive line.Agreed. I meant Justin Jefferson, not McCarthy. My response wasn't clear.JJ will be good to go. He was coached by Harbaugh and he has great pieces around him. Gonna have to reference them as JJ18 and JJ9 in the future.I meant Justin Jefferson, not McCarthy. My response wasn't clear.
Again, for me 7-on-7 doesn't do much because it seems like under pressure has been the story of camp and int's
ThisThat's alright. The first handful of games they are going to run the ball for 225 yards per game while Addison is out
I just refer to McCarthy as McCarthy.Gonna have to reference them as JJ18 and JJ9 in the future.
he's going to say this 300 times this year i'm sure, even when he's not throwing jefferson the ball.JJ 2 JJ . Says PA
He probably will but it will get lost in all his constant blathering. That is one guy that loves to listen to himself talk.he's going to say this 300 times this year i'm sure, even when he's not throwing jefferson the ball.
Too late for KeenanSomebody get Keenan Allen on the phone.

It's pretty early, too early to be banging the alarm bells, but this summary on the backup QB situation is slightly concerning. Especially since I am a fully committed Sam Howell apologist/fan; I think he has time in the preseason to get things moving in the right direction.
I'm with you on Howell. With WAS, he did hold the ball too long at times but he had solid passing stats along with rushing yards that come with his mobility.
I'm confident he'll shake the rust off and be a quality backup QB for us.
Na, like Gary Gaetti is the G man. And Gagne was Gagne.Gonna have to reference them as JJ18 and JJ9 in the future.
