My optimistic tells me this is a good omen regarding new ownership - clear out what wasn’t working to make it more attractive for someone to buy or as an unwritten condition of a purchase occurring.

I just think people are acting like rebuilding a good bullpen is easy. There's a reason so many teams are trying to acquire bullpen help. Because it's hard to build a good one.

If they trade Joe Ryan they won't have to worry about remaking the bullpen for at least 2 seasons, as they won't be relevant any way.

The funny thing with Wallner is he has a higher OPS than every Twins hitter except Buxton, Bader and Clemens. His SLG and OBP have been solid. He walks a lot and when he hits the ball, he hits with a lot of power. But yes, he needs to make more contact. I'm hoping he can rebound.

Yep. Was a DII player before going to Coastal Carolina for one year. Went undrafted, played independent ball for a summer and then the Twins signed him. Also, he's only 5'5".
