USC blows an 18 point half time lead and loses at home to Washington. Also costs me a 5 team parlay. Never liked Musselman anyway.![]()

The Vikings are suing ASU for copyright infringement.
Shows you what I know; I thought it was a polytechnic specializing in packaging. In Paris, it's a culinary school .
I think Arizona is in the same group. They have looked fantastic all year and have played a tough schedule.Iowa State and Michigan are clear cut #1 and #2 in my eyes. Wow. ISU smoked Purdue today.
Agreed. I finally saw them play the other night. Pretty impressive. Somehow I always get lured into picking them in my brackets and they kill me!I think Arizona is in the same group. They have looked fantastic all year and have played a tough schedule.
I just saw they were up 20 at the half! Then again NCAAM have shown time and time again that no 20 pt lead is safe…
At this moment, you may be correct. We'll see in March when it really matters.Michigan might be the best team in the nation.
Score is now tied with 5 minutes to goI just saw they were up 20 at the half! Then again NCAAM have shown time and time again that no 20 pt lead is safe…
I would say YES to that. Their front court is far and away better than anyone else in College BBMichigan might be the best team in the nation.
Could this be the year? For the first time in a quarter century?I would say YES to that. Their front court is far and away better than anyone else in College BB
#Basketball Wait, is Clemson actually just a mid-major that’s located in Minnesota that I wasn’t aware of?!?BYU completes the 22-point second half comeback to win with a 3 at the buzzer

Maybe. They certainly have the horses to get it done.Could this be the year? For the first time in a quarter century?
Regarding Asuma.....This is not the Wisconsin defense of old. Nebraska is getting anything they want.
By the way- Sam Hoiberg is actually a good player. There is no way that I would have believed 2 years ago that the 6 foot Hoiberg could be the starting PG on a winning team. But he is. It turns out that players can develop. Nights like tonight I wonder, is Asuma good enough to lead a winning team? Not yet, he has a long way to go. But he may be in two years with the right pieces around him, in this system.
I'm not ready to say this in mid December. The bulk of the B1G is still before us. Nebraska often has reminded me of Maryland football, look like national championship contenders early on and then fade away as the season progresses. Also, like many other teams, Nebraska is much better at home. They have to win some road games in the B1G to convince me they are legit.OK, Nebraska is real. It took a little while, but Fred has done it.

Nebraska has Mast, who is terrific, and they played hard on both ends of the court last night. Their talent doesn't bring to mind top teams but they are a solid squad that will look great when they play as hard as they did last night. They run the same stuff Niko does on offense but with the really good big guy who can play in or out- it works better.I'm not ready to say this in mid December. Took a while?OK, Nebraska is real. It took a little while, but Fred has done it.
His first three years were historically awful, then they got better, year five they broke through and made the tournament, last year Rigsby buzzer beater probably kept them out and they won the players crown or whatever that tourney is called. Nebby has always had great fan support for years the problem was getting players to go there, but NIL has been a game changer in that department and this year they have a lot of pieces back and some continuity with the roster. Also got a pretty good player out of Cretin in the 2027 class tooTook a while?
Just this year, in his 7th at Nebraska, he finally has a higher winning percentage than Ben Johnson had at Minnesota.
No idea how Fred lasted long enough to have that happen.
This has been a topic before, in other threads: how much time should they or should have they given him. There are two factors that recommended some patience:Took a while?

This has been a topic before, in other threads: how much time should they or should have they given him. There are two factors that recommended some patience:
- His previous track record of winning at ISU. He's not an unproven commodity.
- Nebraska is a historically tough place for basketball success: the only power conference school to never win a NCAA tournament game. That's quite a distinction and a tough nut to crack.
