This is not the Wisconsin defense of old. Nebraska is getting anything they want.

By the way- Sam Hoiberg is actually a good player. There is no way that I would have believed 2 years ago that the 6 foot Hoiberg could be the starting PG on a winning team. But he is. It turns out that players can develop. Nights like tonight I wonder, is Asuma good enough to lead a winning team? Not yet, he has a long way to go. But he may be in two years with the right pieces around him, in this system.

Regarding Asuma.....

It just feels like he isn't comfortable yet. He has the tools it seems. I'm not sure he will ever live up to the hype.

I'm not ready to say this in mid December. The bulk of the B1G is still before us. Nebraska often has reminded me of Maryland football, look like national championship contenders early on and then fade away as the season progresses. Also, like many other teams, Nebraska is much better at home. They have to win some road games in the B1G to convince me they are legit.
