All Things 2025/26 College Football Transfer Portal Thread

At a minimum, he had to know it might happen. It's just a weird decision. I suppose he can redshirt now if he wants.
I wonder if there was any concern on his part of not being recovered by the start of next season? He did say he would be willing to sit out a year behind Moore if he came back, will be interesting to see how it all shakes out.

That is a good point.

Seeing players attend 5 schools over the course of their college career is insane. What a weird time in college athletics.

And the sad part is that when it is all said and done a guy like this will probably have attended all these different schools for free and have nothing to show for it with the exception of whatever pay for play money he was able to accumulate while bouncing from place to place. Because you know in cases like this academics are not even in the equation.
He will still get a free education at his final school if he wants it, even after his playing days

I'm always lurking and checking in on the GOPHERS. The season didn't go well for either of us. I hope GSU's head coach is gone after next year. Has anyone watched any Navy games this year? I want their OC, a very good DC, and a great staff for both of them. Give them 5 years, and if we don't go at least 9-3 in our 4th and 5th years, beating at least 1 P5 team both years, you won't hear me b1t*hing any more about the Flex T-Option

I hope the GOPHERS recruit most excellently this year and win your conference next year!

FRIEND TALON from GEORGIA SOUTHRN University!

PARTY ON GOPHERS!!!!!!!!!!

This is Nuckin’ Futs! I can’t believe how many players are out there. I feel like you should be able to field a hell of a team as there has to be some talent amongst them…that’s a lot of
players!

The Trans Portal is a backstabbing piece of $hit!

This clip from Rich Eisen’s show details how many are in the portal and the primary issue, unregulated agents, who require no type of licensure -

Programs paying agents not to tell the kid (their client) about offers is really, really bad. Those people should be kicked out of college sports.

It’s not at all surprising this is happening.
The schools and NCAA don’t care about the players.

If it’s good enuff for the NFL players, it should obviously be implemented for college players as well.

I’m surprised the NCAA hasn’t been sued yet for this negligence. It’s just so damn dirty now.

It's the equivalent of rookies in the NFL hiring their best buddy or family friend as an agent/financial advisor/etc and basically losing all their cash. We're seeing a modern day version of parts of the ESPN 50 for 50 documentary "Broke."
