All Things 2025-2026 Minnesota Timberwolves In-Season Thread

Point taken and I stand by theorem on Finch being horrible at developing players/using the bench.

BTW - Luke Garza says hi from Boston
16.6 minutes
7.8 points
4.2 boards
43.8% from 3

All he needed was a real chance by a good coach who knows how to use him correctly🤷‍♂️.
Luka could always shoot and he always hustled. The reason he was (and is) borderline unplayable unless someone is hurt is that he is molasses. He gets killed on defense.

In terms of Finch not developing young players, who has left during his tenure and made him look bad? (NAW doesn't count. His game was established here.)

Luka’s +/- is 73 this season, per Stat Muse, link below. A good coach figures out how to maximize a player’s positives and minimize his negatives / thst ain’t Finch, Micah🤠

This would be because of expansion, right?
Correct. Based on all the rumors, LV and SEA will get franchises in the WC and MIN or MEM would move to the EC. MEM is farther east but MIN has been pushing hard behind the scenes to get the nod.

They would cut way back on air/travel expenses and have far fewer 9:00pm starts for local viewers.

So a few years out still
