All Things 2024 Minnesota Twins In-Season Thread

Routine grounder to short and Buxton beats it out. Oh then a triple by Castro scores him

Montgomery and Snell were probably the two top free agent pitchers I saw many people wanting the Twins to get this past offseason. I know it's easy to play Monday morning QB but free agent SP is such a wildcard.

Brutal strike 3 call on Santana there. I will type it until I'm blue in the face, there is zero reason for a human umpire to be calling balls and strikes in the year 2024.

13-5 in the bottom of the 5th. If you're sitting in the stands in Arizona you must be thinking this game will never end.

Correra got plunked on the wrist/forearm and went directly to the dugout while shaking his head.

Looked brutal. ☹️

We may see Brooks Lee in Seattle

Agreed.

I was listening to the game on the way home from the golf course. Flipped the TV on just in time to see Correa get plunked. First thought was wondering if Lee can make it to Seattle by tomorrow night.

Good win.

If I have this right Mighty Max has played in 2 of the 6 games and gotten 1 hit since he had to leave the Oakland game in the first inning. I see why they didn’t DL him as he’s an iron man and battles through adversity well.
