All Things 2024-25 Minnesota Timberwolves In-Season Thread

Ugly game, but I think the Lakers played about as well as they could have with their season essentially on the line. The Wolves were terrible, yet only lost by 9.

I don't think the Lakers can play with that intensity every game for the rest of the series.
Get Ant to shut up and play. Stop trash-talking when we are down 15. Just stop talking.

Get the coaches to know when the shot clock is at 4 seconds and relay that to the players. Still can't believe that happened.

Don't give the Lakers any extra help, in other words.

The defense was solid for three quarters last night. Do that again and again.

Ant is yelling, "I'm a bad man!" as we are getting our azzez kicked.

He's talking about his dick the other night.

STFU and just play.

These stupid 2 off days in between games really helps the Lakers.

I couldn't help but laugh when Randle hit Lebron in the face. Lebron falls and flails like a toddler having a tantrum. Then gets up, walks to the bench for :30 and then come back onto the floor as if nothing happened.

Surprised they didn’t eject Randle for that super egregious hit. /s

If the games were switched around, lose the first in this fashion and win the second like in the opener, we would probably be happy and thinking the Wolves are gonna go up 3-1
Going to try and delude myself into believing that is what transpired.

This has 7 game series all over it to me

They need to either take Rudy mostly out of the rotation, or figure out how to get him going like he was down the stretch: clogging the middle, grabbing rebounds and getting to the rim on lobs. He's getting outworked and outhustled on the glass on both ends of the floor, or when he isn't, he's fumbling the ball away like he's playoff Adrian Peterson.
