Awesome, hopefully a lot of guys on this list survive all the cuts and find their way onto active rosters for the season. Need more U of M guys in the league making plays.

It's great to see the list. I remember it being rough there from 2010-2013 or so where it was like the only Gopher in the league was Decker.

yeah, definite uptick in the number of guys in the NFL and that will hopefully continue to grow. Next step is getting more star players in the NFL. We have one in Winfield and Bateman feels like he is on the verge of breaking out in a big way.

Edit....think my Packer hate caused me to forget to mention Campbell in the star group. He has really come into his own the past few years.

I was talking more about players who the random NFL fan might have heard of. Winfield has been showing up on top 100 lists, Bateman is getting hyped as the potential #1 WR in Baltimore, and Campbell made the All-Pro team last year.

Murray has had a nice career but isn't likely to be someone that the random fan from another team knows much about.

No, Blake was a 5th round pick by the Jets. With the Jets he started 7 games but was hurt often and only played in 14 games in the three years he was there.

Lovie must have remembered him from his Big Ten days.. Hopefully, Blake stays healthy and plays great! I enjoyed him as a Gopher. High percentage of successful big play blitzes.

You are correct. Still.....good sign that after three years in the league.....some team was willing to part with draft picks for him. Hopefully he can get himself healthy. Clearly has a path to regular playing time.

Why did Blaise pick Miami? Seems like there's a lot more competition there to make the roster than there would be with most teams.
