Men, not boys!Nice for them. Always good to see a 1st and 2nd team all BIG. Congrats, boys.
No he didn't. He might have gotten a little boost with the media (2nd team), but he had a good year & deserves to be on the list.Koi got it on name alone this season
He wasn't as good as his freshman campaign but he still put together a heckuva season.Koi got it on name alone this season
Two guys I always knew were on the field, Winfield and Tyrone Carter. I cannot say the same for Koi. Wish I could. No he didn't. He might have gotten a little boost with the media (2nd team), but he had a good year & deserves to be on the list.
He was 6th in the B1G in tackles among DB's out of 72 starters, forced a fumble, and returned a Int for the game winner on Homecoming. That's a pretty good season.

Also he is no Jack Kennedy.
Love Tyrone, Antoine and Koi!Look, I'm not going to tell you anyone is at Tyrone Carter's level. But as a true sophomore, Koi greatly outperformed Antoine Winfield, Jr. (20 total tackles, 1 TFL, no turnovers)
That's a fair statement. I just want him to be up there. He has already pretty much said it will be three years and done for him. No time to waste.Look, I'm not going to tell you anyone is at Tyrone Carter's level. But as a true sophomore, Koi greatly outperformed Antoine Winfield, Jr. (20 total tackles, 1 TFL, no turnovers)
I think he meant it more in the Lord Of The Rings sense.Men, not boys!
Really? He won a game for us and lost a game for us. Had one good game returning kicks. He wasn't as good as his freshman campaign but he still put together a heckuva season.
Wesson was outstanding Saturday. His contribution to negative field position for the Badgers was outstanding.Weston - 3rd Team
He had some bad plays but still played really well in many games.Koi got it on name alone this season
If I recall AW jr got hurt that year and ended up taking a red shirt.Look, I'm not going to tell you anyone is at Tyrone Carter's level. But as a true sophomore, Koi greatly outperformed Antoine Winfield, Jr. (20 total tackles, 1 TFL, no turnovers)
I think the wisconsin snapper that caused the fumble off the receiver in motion deserves some credit...Is the long snapper and short snapper same guy.
HM for long snapper.
I don’t think our short snapper was very good but have no idea who it even is
AgreeI think the wisconsin snapper that caused the fumble off the receiver in motion deserves some credit...
In all honesty…one great play to win a game, one great game returning kicks, and one boneheaded play that helped us lose a game.He had some bad plays but still played really well in many games.
This year exposed he is a really good and explosive player but he isn’t complete yet.
The rest of the Big TenIn all honesty…one great play to win a game, one great game returning kicks, and one boneheaded play that helped us lose a game.
Bad tacking most of the year.
Talented but not a all B10 type season IMO.
But I am not sure who his competition was
He has to be a better tackler. He has to quit trying to make plays all the time and sometimes just do his job.In all honesty…one great play to win a game, one great game returning kicks, and one boneheaded play that helped us lose a game.

I’m not tearing him down at all. I think he regressed and didn’t have a great year. Still a really talented player. The rest of the Big Ten
JFC, the lengths some people to go to tear down their own team instead of celebrating their accomplishments.
Fair. And I would agree his tackling was my biggest issue by far.He has to be a better tackler. He has to quit trying to make plays all the time and sometimes just do his job.
His competition for all big ten was the other safeties in the big ten.
It certainly wasn’t an all American season and won’t be rewarded as such
I think his issues with tackling and coverage was always trying to make the unbelievable play when a solid play would’ve sufficedFair. And I would agree his tackling was my biggest issue by far.
Maybe he’s being coached to tackle the way he is otherwise I think he’d be coached to change it and would?Fair. And I would agree his tackling was my biggest issue by far.
His “regression” is at least partially related to our struggling corner backs. In 2024 he had the luxury of free-lancing and making plays because Walley and to a lesser extent Robinson were stout in coverage. This year he was always trying to anticipate which db would need help in coverage. That’s why I wonder if he’s a flight risk. Will he want to play with elite level cornerbacks?I’m not tearing him down at all. I think he regressed and didn’t have a great year. Still a really talented player.
