I couldn't imagine an AD not hiring Claeys. We all know that you want more and think Claeys should get fired even if he wins 8 games next season, but there isn't an AD in the country who would agree with you.

You're probably right on the second part, but I could absolutely see a new AD going a different direction than Claeys at the end of last season if there was one in place. Rutgers and Maryland were able to hire D-coordinators with better resumes than Claeys. Only time will tell who made the right choices. And then there's basketball...
