You know, I watched the game last night. I watched the team QUIT in the middle of the second half when they were only down 10 against a team that really wasn't clicking that well. Losing is one thing, but the Gophers didn't even try to redeem the loss with effort. THAT is what I find most embarrassing.
 

With the way the Gophers played last night we could have easily lost by 50 if Ohio State played anywhere near decent that first half.

I said in my post, that if someone was just venting, that was different. I suggested it might not be the worst idea to let it be known that was what they were doing, and I don't think it was you I was addressing, but either way, you have obviously made it known that you were just venting, so I don't have a problem with you. And don't worry, I'm not deluded into thinking you'd care one way or the other, but you did respond so maybe there is 1% of you that cares what I think of you. And you are ok man, your alright in my book. I got no beef with you, that I can remember.


I said, if anyone WAS JUMPING OFF, simply to stay off. Anyone still here, obviously didn't jump off, right?!! And giving up on the coach is not the same thing as giving up on the team. Giving up on a coach is fine with me. Tubby's wearing thin with a lot of fans, including fans who earlier in the season supported him. I am less of a fan of his than I was a week ago, and was less of a fan of his a week ago, than I was a month ago, and so on.




Oh, and for someone who thinks I'm long winded, I'd think you'd appreciate my abbreviating as much as I can?! lol

Otherwise I can write a very long post explaining to you in great detail my non-taylor swift fan reasons why I use certain abbreviations when I do. I'm thinking you'd just LOVE that, right?! lol

LOL; aren't you the guy who is claiming to be 55-60 years old. Not so sure given the Taylor Swift reference....

Savagerube made the first Taylor Swift reference, I was just responding, trying to lighten the mood a little.

And a guy getting close to 50 years old can have 2 teenaged daughters, and I do. So I know a few things that I might otherwise not admit to knowing. Oh, and I have a 20 something girlfriend. hehe

so do you watch the games angry at tubby or excited for the gophers? if you coached i would support you until you were removed. im not a fan of a coach, im a fan of the gophers. i go into virtually every game expecting we win, i never go into a game pissed off on the edge of my seat to say "i told you so, tubby sucks!" i hope you can get over the coaching situation and support the team. they need it more than they need a bunch of pissed off fans waiting for the first sign of trouble to boo the coach.
