Illinois just added a guy to the roster and with free agency now just a thing, anyone think we add a guy? Sure would be nice to have some 20 year old sharpshooter G mixed in. Doesn't seem likely but maybe Niko has scoured the world for some pro over in Europe

With the NCAA system resembling the wild west currently, it would be cool if players could be put "on loan" ie. Premier League/soccer between schools. A guy like James Brown at UNC, (Cade Tyson teammate) 6'10" big w/skills could be LOANED to MN within a window say between 12/10/25 and 1/1/26 for the remainder of the season. Contracts signed, credits transferred and appropriate penalty/costs for MN if Brown decided to stay at MN '26/'27.
He would have an expanded role, get more minutes, develop faster, and return to UNC as a veteran Big Ten center next season. MN would have a big body through this Big Ten season, and return Brown to UNC as unaffected MN recruits and portal transfers come in for '26/'27. Watching Tar Heels game last night, a buddy and I were lamenting how MN could use James Brown right now. His idea. Brilliant!

When is the college basketball trade deadline? Can we call someone up from St. Thomas to the big leagues?

No they want a chance to go to the Big Dance… not even a lateral move at this point.. Plus Niko might be scared to contact them..

Playing in front of more than 2,000 fans on a real TV network might have some appeal.

Last I checked the U was playing to a little over 50% of their arena capacity and UST 64%… 🤷🏾‍♂️.. UST BTN + is outstanding 😂😂😂😂😂😂

And when I bought a Diet Pepsi they let me keep the cap to the bottle at UST…

My bad.. Currently U of M 52% capacity per home game and St Paul D1 school .665%….
