ACC-Big 10 Challenge - Minnesota @ Miami(fla) Game thread

Well, it's time to pray for a Wisconsin miracle.

What does Tubby think of our offense? has he said anything about it? does he see a problem?

According to the announcers, Miami is a GREAT team.

Sorry, but beating this Gopher team is no accomplishment. Right now, they'll do everything they can to make sure you can win.

Miami looked like a terrible team. They were taking redic shots and bricking many of them. Take away the last 2 mins, they had no inside game whatsoever. But yet we lost to them. We are not an even average team right now. Only good news is we have 3 months to turn it around

and the wisconsin miracle is happening.

Wow. While that was really discouraging and I am wondering about our chances to get a good seed in the Ncaa, our season is not over. We win the rest of our nonconference games by 30, get Royce and Trevor back, and get some quality wins over Purdue and Mich State, and we'll be fine.

What offense? Whatever it is- it's his. It's been like this all three years. If guys don't hit outside shots it looks abysmal. No movement, no easy shots from an offensive set all one on one. The only solid shots we got (and missed) were almost all off of Nolen drive and dishes. Tubby depends 100% on defense. If we don't get a full team back with 11-12 players and start pressing all year long -then there will be a lot of these games

This has been such a disappointing season so far, I'd go as far as to call it a nightmare. Whether this team makes the NCAA's or not (and it would be ridiculous not to make the tourney, but you have to consider the possibility) it will not defeat any teams of note. Why? Free Throws. A team cannot give away so may points and still beat quality teams. If this team even shot 70% from the line in their losses, they would have 1 loss (at most) right now.
