I have not found him funny in years, except a few skits.
Last night was the very first time I've ever watched Kimmel's show. It will also probably be the last time since I haven't watched network TV including local news since NYPD Blue went off the air.
Your description is hilarious
Thank you!
but it seems you want to put it in the same category as Martin Luther King , JFK and Abraham Lincolns speeches.
Please feel free to map out exactly how I compared Kimmel to those great Americans in my comments. Or do you need to lie and use false analogies in an effort to give your own post some hyperbolic credibility? I said nothing even remotely close to what you are inferring here.
Just amazing for the whole world. Everything is now solved.
More than 6 million people tuned it last night out of curiosity and that # doesn't take into account that 25% of all American viewers were denied their rights to choose by political movements within our very own government and corporate conspirators.
The application of our 1st Amendment rights should NOT be a "selective" process controlled by whatever political platform is currently in power, whether it's Trump's effort to cancel his critics in the media or Oatmeal's efforts to get Trump tossed from Twitter.
This country is in the process of enduring 8+ years of the most corrupt and incompetent leadership in United States history. And neither side has any interest in accepting an ounce of accountability for their direct roles in dividing this country.
Although he's much farther to the Left than I ever will be, Kimmel was pure gold last night. I enjoyed his comedy every bit as much as I do when I'm watching a Jeff Dunham comedy special who happens to lean farther Right than I do. Is it still legal to feel this way in the US?
Short of a complete and utter revolt by Moderate voters in our country that account for 60% of our population, I see no end to our downward spiral as a once proud and most respected nation. We've become a punchline for the rest of the world.
Abe Lincoln borrowed the premise of his famous quote pertaining to slavery from the Bible:
"Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand."
Matthew 12:25
Don't look now but our roof is starting to crumble...and it's from a hailstorm of hatred raining down by only a very small percentage of our country who talk the loudest. My predictions 2-3 years ago of political killings were correct, and sadly, there will almost certainly be more in our future.
