I agree with your take. I have to think if we land another 4-star or two, we should be right there in the Top 20.
 

11-2 and a dynamic HC are paying dividends.

Yeah, the chances of staying in the top 10 are pretty slim but top 20 is seeming more and more realistic with each 4* that commits. 2021 is shaping up to be a really special class on paper.
 






He looks like Michael Vick on his film or at least Rickie Foggie(but much faster)!
 



I clearly remember Antoine Randle-El driving the Gophers nuts when he played for Indiana....he'd run around and make our d-lineman look like idiots trying to touch him. I see a lot of the same characteristics is this kid! He could be really fun to watch!!!

Time for an "old guy" post.

I always get a little wary when I see a recruit listed as "athlete" instead of at a specific position. It's just a personal quirk of mine.

Maybe this is fallout from the Brewster days, when they would recruit some kid and Brewster would say "he's a great athlete. We'll find a position for him." those never seemed to work out.

I suppose it comes down to trusting the coaching staff to find a spot where the player can make the biggest impact.

I think the difference with Jackson is that he's already shown to be a productive receiver. He'll get a shot to prove it as a QB, and if it doesn't work out, we have a dynamic receiving talent for this staff to develop. Seems like a win-win to me!

Watch highlights of Jackson’s Sophomore season at WR (his only year playing that position) to ease your mind.

 

PJ has a soft spot for the "toos". Too short, etc... Hungry guys that are bent on proving everyone wrong.

I also like the "toos." Especially when they are phenomenal athletes with rocket arms. Put a chip on the shoulder of someone blessed with talent and watch him burn! I think I remember seeing that he's a really good student, too. Seems like way more plusses than minuses!

Tyler Johnson, Kamal Martin, and Ko Kieft are all recent ATHs. Eric Murray, KJ Maye, and Troy Stoudermire all were as well going back a few years. .
